Franklinton
Franklinton's East Franklinton arts district anchors the neighborhood's live-music identity, with Franklinton Fridays drawing crowds each month for live music alongside gallery open houses and a vendor market. Land-Grant Brewing Company anchors the scene with craft beer, food trucks, an outdoor beer garden, and live music in Franklinton. Through its "Let's Give" program, the brewery partners with the Franklinton Arts District on a Local Artist and Musician Fund, supporting performers and hosting shows. Its Gravity Park addition brings further outdoor live music in spring and summer. Rehab Tavern, established in 2013, occupies a space that was previously the Three Deuces Bar for over 40 years. The bar books a wide range of genres, with past artists including Blueprint and Coolzey. A weekly hip-hop night called The Break runs on Wednesdays, with free entry and open-mic cyphers. Sweeney's Walnut Street Tavern, open roughly a year and a half, carries a strong music focus and sits close to other Franklinton venues. Wild Goose Creative also appears on the Franklinton Arts District event calendar as a host venue for neighborhood programming.
