Arena District
The Arena District anchors Columbus's large-venue concert calendar. Nationwide Arena, the neighborhood's centerpiece, holds up to 20,000 for concerts and opened in 2000 with a Faith Hill and Tim McGraw performance. It draws major touring acts across genres year-round. ScottsMiracle-Gro Field sits within walking distance of Nationwide Arena as the home of MLS's Columbus Crew, though its live-music programming is limited compared to the arena. For something smaller, Park Street Tavern is a neighborhood bar featuring live music Tuesday through Saturday with 100 craft beers in bottles and on tap. The building was originally converted into a jazz club in 1998, and Park Street Tavern later remodeled and added a second floor and sound system. A jazz jam session runs every Tuesday, and live band karaoke takes over on Wednesdays. Stories on High rounds out the district's music options, though specific details on its programming could not be confirmed.
