Italian Village
Italian Village sits just north of downtown Columbus, bordered by the Short North Arts District, and its live-music options run through two N. Fourth Street venues that each do things differently. Budd Dairy Food Hall occupies a renovated dairy storage building with three levels offering games and live music, plus a rooftop bar. Regular entertainment events run alongside the local food vendors, leaning toward DJ sets and music trivia rather than full band bookings. Seventh Son Brewing Co., at 1101 N. Fourth St., was founded in 2013 and is a more traditional craft-brewery music host. Amenities include an event space, outdoor patio, and live music. The brewery has a dedicated sunroom for events: it recently hosted a 360 boiler-room style DJ event there, with custom lighting and sound and a six-person lineup. The patio adds fire pits and communal seating for warmer-season shows. Together, the two venues give Italian Village a low-key but genuine music presence centered on local acts and DJ culture.
