Avon

Avon's live-music calendar is largely seasonal and community-driven. The anchor is the Washington Township Park Amphitheater, where Washington Township Parks and Avon Parks partner with the Avon Chamber of Commerce on a free summer concert series held at the outdoor amphitheater at the back of the park near the Pavilion. The free series runs select dates from June through early fall, ending with concerts at the Washington Township Park Amphitheater. Acts have included Copperpot, The American West Band, Twenty Dollar Mule, and The Strays. On the ticketed side, Crossroads Church - Avon, at 7209 E County Rd 100 S, is an active concert venue with ticketed shows that lean toward Christian and gospel-oriented artists. Together the two venues reflect Avon's character as a family-friendly suburb where live music arrives mainly in the form of free park events in summer and faith-based ticketed concerts year-round.
