Riverside
A neighborhood in Indianapolis
Riverside runs along the White River on Indianapolis's near-west side, anchored by Riverside Regional Park, one of the city's largest green spaces, and home to a new promenade and amphitheater. The neighborhood's live-music options split between outdoor park programming and a pair of distinct indoor spots. Riverside Park participates in the city's summer concert series, and the Taggart Memorial Amphitheatre sits within that same park setting. The Riverside Park & Family Center adds a community-focused indoor option for local performances. Guggman Haus Brewing Co. is a family-owned microbrewery on the old Boyle Racing Headquarters site, with a spacious taproom, beer garden, and multiple event spaces. The brewery hosts live music in its beer garden every Friday in summer, and every show is free and family-friendly. Cosmo Knights Social Club, established in 1949, is one of Indianapolis's most historic social clubs, featuring a cigar lounge. With a history as one of the oldest Black-owned clubs in Indianapolis, it functions as a community hub that regularly fills with live music.
