SouthPointe
SouthPointe Pavilions is an outdoor shopping center at 27th Street and Pine Lake Road, and it is SouthPointe's only live-music draw. The anchor event is the Friday Nights Live series, which runs every Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in SouthPointe's Center Courtyard over a 13-week summer run . The series books local and regional talent across rock, pop, funk, and soul, and admission is free, making it all-ages friendly. Past and current bookings include Friday Nights Live regulars like D*Funk, Jarana, and the Wheezetones, as well as Josh Hoyer and his band Soul Colossal and the rock/blues/country Hector Anchando Band. The venue also hosts the Famous Dave's BBQ & Blues Fest among its annual events. Music here is seasonal and family-oriented, tied to the shopping center's broader community programming rather than a dedicated club scene.
