Glendale
Glendale's live-music identity is largely tied to one venue: The Yard, a large, open-air community space located in the heart of Bayshore, a mixed-use shopping center on N. Bayshore Drive. The Yard hosts the annual Bayshore Sounds of Summer series on select Fridays from June through August. Each event features local bands alongside an outdoor beer garden, food trucks, and pop-up vendors. Past lineups have drawn from a wide range of styles, with acts covering Motown, reggae, Caribbean, blues, and new wave. The series is presented by OnMilwaukee and Milwaukee Radio Group. All concerts run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and are free to attend. Beyond summer Fridays at The Yard, Glendale has limited dedicated live-music infrastructure; residents looking for year-round or late-night music typically head into Milwaukee proper.
