A neighborhood in Milwaukee
Kilbourn Town covers the west side of downtown Milwaukee. The Pabst Theater, a cornerstone of the neighborhood's arts scene on East Wells Street, hosts concerts and events in a European-style setting dating back to 1895. For late-night live music, the neighborhood's sole dedicated venue is RWB Milwaukee. RWB sits on Old World 3rd Street and runs Thursday through Saturday, pairing live music with party DJs and drink specials. The bar opened at 1044 N. Old World 3rd St. in the former Buckhead Saloon space, with high ceilings and a large wooden dance floor. It partnered with country radio station 94.5 KTI and installed a live studio on-site, with an emphasis on up-and-coming Nashville acts playing pre- and post-concert parties. Over time the format shifted; RWB is now positioned as a top-40 and party-anthem bar. Open mic nights and live music remain part of the lineup.
