The Eddy Arnold Amphitheater takes its name from country music legend Eddy Arnold, a longtime Brentwood resident. The original amphitheater was completed in 1993 and remodeled in 2000 thanks to a donation by Arnold himself. It is Brentwood's primary live-music home. Enjoying live music at Crockett Park is a Brentwood summer tradition, anchored by the city's annual Summer Concert Series, which provides free concerts across June and July. Events held there include BrentFest and the 4th of July celebration, Red, White, and Boom. The Summer Concert Series features performances from local and national artists and generally wraps up before the Fourth of July celebration. All city events at the amphitheater are free and open to the public, set against the open green space of Crockett Park, with a spacious lawn for seating. Past shows have included dueling-piano acts and 80s cover bands, alongside the city's fireworks display. Outside of this summer programming, Brentwood has no dedicated indoor live-music venues of its own; residents looking for bars or clubs with live music typically head to nearby Franklin or Nashville.
