Thompson's Station is a small town about 30 miles south of downtown Nashville, sitting between Franklin and Spring Hill. Its live-music footprint is modest, with Company Distilling as the town's primary venue for original programming. Company Distilling operates out of a former granary that once stored local farmers' grains. It expanded to Thompson's Station in August 2022, adding a stop to the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. The location pairs live music with distillery-exclusive products, a cocktail and mocktail bar, and indoor and outdoor seating. Company Distilling frequently hosts its own live music events, with performances typically held on the outdoor patio. Past bookings have included Nashville-area singer-songwriters and country artists. The distillery's gin quickly became a crowd pleaser, notable in a state known for whiskey. For larger shows, residents look just outside town: FirstBank Amphitheater, a former quarry turned concert venue, draws national touring acts.
