Carter Lake
Prairie Flower Casino, owned and operated by the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, is Carter Lake's primary live-music destination. Open since November 2018, the casino completed a major expansion in early 2025. The original footprint of roughly 9,000 square feet grew to 70,000 square feet, and the expansion added an entertainment venue for live shows and concerts. New dining options include the Sky Bar & Grill and River's Edge Cafe, giving concertgoers places to eat and drink on site. The location sits just minutes from Omaha's Old Market and just south of Eppley Airfield, making it easy to reach from across the metro. Outside the casino, Carter Lake's annual summer festival includes live music as part of its community celebration, but Prairie Flower is the city's only standing music venue.
