Old Market

Omaha's Old Market is the city's most historic neighborhood, its cobblestone streets lined with restaurants, taverns, and galleries. Harney Street in particular has become a hub for live music, with up to four concerts a night along a single block. Harney Street Tavern hosts live music Wednesday through Saturday, featuring mostly local artists and singer/songwriters across jazz, blues, folk, country, rockabilly, and Americana. The bar sits in the basement of the former Antiquarium building, where a record store once operated, and its signature cocktail is called the "Record Store" in its honor. There is no cover charge for the Friday and Saturday night sets. Dubliner Pub is a classic Irish pub reached by a basement entrance on Harney Street, where local bands perform regularly. Music runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Irish-focused acts on Fridays and Saturdays. Havana Garage pairs live music with cigars and craft cocktails every weekend.
