Elkhorn
Bottles & Barrels is a tasting and retail shop founded by Elkhorn residents Jimmy and Becky Ellsworth. The self-serve format covers 58 beers, bourbons, wines, cocktails, and other spirits, and music fits naturally into that neighborhood-gathering-place model. Each week the shop runs Acoustic Sundays, with live music from 2 to 5 p.m. Regulars make a point of showing up on Sundays for the afternoon sets. The venue also programs one-off evening shows: a Friday Night Live series has brought performers like Logan Corbino for three-hour sets alongside local food trucks. Seasonal events such as a Celebrate Local Weekend feature local musicians, food trucks, and Nebraska breweries and distilleries across multiple nights. As the only dedicated music-hosting spot in Elkhorn proper, Bottles & Barrels fills a real gap: one developer noted a void for live music venues in western Omaha, and this shop is the area's main answer to that on a regular, walkable scale.
