Belleville
Downtown Belleville holds several live-music venues under the informal banner of Live Music Row, making it one of the more active music corridors on the Illinois side of the St. Louis metro. Cigar Inn Jazz Club, at 119 W. Main, is a jazz and cigar lounge that opened in 2009 and holds to traditional jazz styles with live jazz Wednesday through Friday, an open mic and poetry night on alternating Thursdays, and comedy and scotch-bourbon tastings on the calendar as well. Copper Fire, also on Main Street, is a contemporary restaurant and bar offering New American fare and live acoustic music. Music runs Wednesday through Sunday, with evening sets on weeknights and afternoon and evening sets on weekends. The room books cover acts and original bands across rock and country. Venue on Main is a multipurpose space used for live music events, art shows, and wine and bourbon tastings. Located at 202 W. Main, it regularly books original bands. Dutch Hollow Barn and Silver Creek Sports & Social round out the mix, with the Barn hosting ticketed band nights and Silver Creek booking tribute acts.
