Minnehaha
Minnehaha is a quiet, residential neighborhood whose live-music life runs almost entirely through one outdoor venue: the Minnehaha Bandstand, located at 4801 S Minnehaha Park Dr inside Minnehaha Regional Park. The bandstand is part of Minneapolis's Music in the Parks program, which has brought free concerts to park venues since 1892. Concerts run free of charge from Memorial Day to Labor Day each summer. All shows are free to attend and open to all ages. The programming covers a wide range of styles. The venue hosts concerts across a wide range of genres, with documented bookings including concert band, bluegrass, Americana, and variety performance nights. The bandstand sits just yards from the Sea Salt Eatery near the falls, making it a natural stop on a park visit. Outside of summer concert season, a few nearby pubs represent the closest nightlife Minnehaha has to offer.
