Buford
Buford is a Gwinnett County community anchored by a historic downtown on Main Street, and that downtown block is effectively where the suburb's live-music scene lives. 37 Main Restaurant + Bar, in the heart of historic downtown Buford, has been operating since December 2008. It runs a steady calendar of live music Thursday through Saturday. The venue holds 300 seated or 500 standing, and Thursdays have historically been reserved for dueling pianos. Friday and Saturday shows regularly feature tribute bands covering acts like Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Garth Brooks, Queen, Post Malone, Tool, and Bon Jovi. Original acts also appear, spanning rock, alternative, country, and Southern rock. On weekends the room shifts into a late-night nightclub setup downstairs, with DJs and dancing. Midweek programming includes trivia nights, comedy nights, and acoustic performances.
