Reynoldstown
The Eastern opened in September 2021 with an inaugural show from Atlanta hip-hop legend Big Boi. Located in the Atlanta Dairies complex in Reynoldstown, it is a partnership between Zero Mile Presents, which also books Terminal West and Variety Playhouse, and AEG Presents. The 37,000-square-foot building holds up to 2,300 people across a multi-tiered floor plan designed so that every position in the room has a clear sightline and excellent sound. The rooftop space functions as a separate stage and, at times, a 200-capacity venue in its own right. Operated by Zero Mile Presents, The Eastern regularly hosts concerts and comedy shows and has welcomed acts like Billie Eilish, Jack White, and Thundercat. Its opening run also included Old Crow Medicine Show, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, and Ashley McBryde, reflecting a booking range that spans hip-hop, rock, folk, and beyond. For Reynoldstown, The Eastern is the neighborhood's sole dedicated music venue and its most prominent draw for live music.
