Venuti's, a family-owned Italian restaurant and banquet hall operating since 1962, anchors Addison's dedicated live-music options. Its VLounge hosts weekly live music and special events at 2251 West Lake Street. There is no cover charge, and the room books both DJs and live bands on a regular basis. Shows run Thursday through Saturday, with Thursday sets typically running 7 to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday sets stretching later into the night. The booking leans toward cover and dance acts: R&B dance bands, rock acts, and horn-infused Chicago groups have all appeared on the calendar. The Addison Center for the Arts also runs a free summer concert series on the Village Green, giving the suburb a modest but consistent live-music presence beyond the restaurant-lounge circuit.
