Medinah

A suburb in the Chicago area

Medinah is an unincorporated community in DuPage County and a northwest suburb of Chicago. It is best known for the Medinah Country Club, which has hosted multiple PGA Championships, the Ryder Cup, and the BMW Championship. The live-music scene here is modest, centered on a single neighborhood bar. 4 Points Whiskey Saloon & Grill sits directly across from Medinah Country Club on Medinah Road, and is the area's one dedicated music spot. The bar runs open band nights and karaoke, giving local players a place to perform in an otherwise quiet suburb. It draws locals with All-American fare, Southern-style specialties, and a full bar. Karaoke runs on Fridays and Saturdays. The vibe is classic dive bar, with a tight-knit regular crowd, and live music ranging from band performances to DJ sets. For anyone in the northwest suburbs looking for a low-key night out with live sound, 4 Points is the only game in town.
