Roselle
Roselle's live-music options run small but cover different ends of the spectrum. Mangy Dawg's Pub, at 101 E. Irving Park Rd., is a neighborhood pub that brings in live music on Saturdays, with sets starting at 9 PM, and fills out the rest of the week with Friday karaoke and Thursday bingo nights. Villaggio Ristorante, at 1242 W. Lake St., offers a warm, vintage atmosphere and is known for its attentive service and Italian cuisine. Friday nights at Villaggio feature live entertainment, and the calendar has included acts such as Sam Savage & Company and Rick Lindy & The Wild Ones. The restaurant also programs special theme evenings, including monthly wine pairing dinners and an annual opera dinner. Beyond these two venues, Roselle hosts live music on summer nights in downtown at Petal Plaza, with concerts on select Thursday evenings as part of a city-run Plaza Concert Series.
