Warpath & Sniper at Jamo's Live
Two of the Southside's top cover bands
A suburb in the Chicago area
Mokena's live-music footprint centers on Jamo's Live, one of Chicagoland's newer dedicated music venues. The room is a restaurant with a capacity of 150 and hosts live music Thursday through Sunday nights. The calendar leans hard on tribute acts and cover bands: AC/DC tribute Bonfire and Motley II have played the stage, and an August 2026 "Divorced Dad Rock Tour" featuring Nickelback, Creed, and Foo Fighters tributes is on the books. Country gets its own regular slot: Honky Tonk Fridays pair preshow line dancing with live country acts. Tuesday nights are reserved for an open jam session, which the venue bills as the best stage and sound on the southwest side. The bands Jamo's draws are well-traveled on the Chicago-area circuit, also appearing at spots like 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. Beyond Jamo's, live music in Mokena is mostly community-event-driven, such as the annual July 3 celebration at Main Park.
