Orland Park

A suburb in the Chicago area

Orland Park's live-music calendar is anchored by Centennial Park West, which has been hosting concerts and events since 2011 and is run by the village itself. The park holds up to 5,000 people, and its open-air stage features a 3,200 sq. ft. performance area. The venue recently shifted from national headliners to tribute bands, driven by financial reality: continuing with big-name acts was projected to cost the village hundreds of thousands of dollars. Trustees agreed to keep the state-of-the-art bandshell active with free summer "Concerts in the Park" built around tribute acts. Past summers have brought acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Trace Adkins; the 2026 Thursday series runs from June through August and includes tributes to Taylor Swift, the Beatles, Steely Dan, and Bon Jovi, among others. For year-round indoor music, Girl in the Park is a locally-owned American bar and grill known for handcrafted cocktails and a strong bourbon program, with live bands on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Many of the musicians who play there got the gig after performing at the venue's open mic sessions, held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Paddy B's Restaurant & Pub also books live music, though specific scheduling details were not available at time of publication.
