Schaumburg
A suburb in the Chicago area
The Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts, owned by the Village of Schaumburg and open since 1986, anchors the area's more formal music calendar with a 425-seat theater known for strong acoustics and sightlines. With the furthest seat only 14 rows from the stage, it books music, dance, and theater across a full season, and adds a free outdoor summer concert series on its grounds. That free series, Summer Breeze, runs on select Saturdays in July and August. The suburb's nightlife options sit at a different register. Drink Nightclub runs an open-format music night every Friday and Saturday from 9 PM to 1:30 AM, spanning hip-hop, house, reggaeton, Latin, electronic, and Afro House. Drink also hosts Latin Wednesday nights. Global Brew Tap House brings in acoustic performers on weekend evenings. Bacówka, a Polish restaurant on South Roselle Road, offers live music every Saturday evening alongside its traditional menu.
