Central

The Central neighborhood sits on Cleveland's east side, bounded roughly by East 71st Street, Interstate 90, Euclid Avenue, and Interstate 77, and its one dedicated music venue is a large-scale arena. Located on the campus of Cleveland State University, the Wolstein Center is one of Ohio's most versatile indoor arenas, and since opening in 1991 has hosted concerts alongside CSU Vikings basketball and large-scale sporting events. The venue holds around 13,610 people, making it one of the biggest concert halls in the greater Cleveland area. It draws a wide range of genres, with past acts including B2K, Bow Wow, and Waka Flocka Flame. Recent bookings have brought in artists like Katt Williams, Turnpike Troubadours, and Brandon Lake. The Wolstein Center is Central's sole live-music anchor, a national-touring-act destination rather than a neighborhood bar scene.
