Downtown
Downtown Cleveland packs a wide range of live-music formats into a compact area. At the large end, Cleveland Public Auditorium is a multi-purpose performing arts and entertainment facility in the civic center district, featuring the 10,000-capacity Public Hall and the 2,800-seat Music Hall, which share a common stage. House of Blues Cleveland, on the East 4th Street entertainment district, is housed in a historic building and books national and international performers across various genres. Its multiple rooms allow bands to perform simultaneously. On the more casual end, Bar 32 sits 32 stories atop the Hilton Cleveland Downtown with indoor and outdoor views of Lake Erie, and music flows through the bar Wednesday through Saturday nights. Outdoors, the Public Square Concert Series is Downtown Cleveland's free, full-band evening summer concert series featuring a local opener and headliner. It runs every Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m., from July through September. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, also downtown on the lakefront, anchors the area's identity as a music city and hosts live performances alongside its history programming.
