Tremont
CODA, opened in 2015, sits beneath Dante Next Door on Professor Avenue and books indie, folk, blues, rock, and punk from both local and national touring acts most nights of the week. The basement-level room has brick-and-beam character and runs a weekly open mic night on Wednesdays, making it a regular outlet for Cleveland-area musicians. Forest City Brewery occupies a historic 100-year-old building in the Duck Island section of Tremont and added a dedicated stage and sound system to a retooled beer hall called the Waldorf Beer Hall. The brewery runs free live music Sundays, live happy hour sets, and swing and Latin dance nights, with a beer garden rounding out the live-event spaces. Prosperity Social Club, The Rosehip Room at The Elliot, and The Treehouse also draw live music to the neighborhood, though specific booking details for those three were not confirmed in available sources. Together, the five venues give Tremont a compact but active live-music footprint anchored along Professor Avenue and Columbus Road.
