BLUEGRASS TUESDAYS with TIM GRAVES & THE FARMHANDS
Weekly bluegrass session
A suburb in the Nashville area
Joelton is a semi-rural community north of Nashville with no traditional town center and no established reputation as a destination for a night out. Its live-music scene runs almost entirely through one address on Clarksville Pike. Joelton Hardware, Feed & Farmacy is a locally owned, independent hardware store that has added a small stage for live music and a diner serving grass-fed burgers, craft beers, wines, and sodas. Inside, a full kitchen, a small bar, and a stage with an upright piano share the room with retail shelving. The booking spans pop, country, bluegrass, rock, rap, and jazz, drawing everyone from Grammy-winning songwriters to first-time teen bands and touring acts. Live music runs most nights Monday through Saturday and at lunch on some days. Regular programming includes free Tuesday bluegrass nights and an open jam that welcomes local artists, songwriters, and performers of all experience levels. Admission is usually free, with tips for the bands encouraged. Nashville roots-music figure Greg Garing has played and curated music at the venue.
