West Nashville
A neighborhood in Nashville
West Nashville's live-music options lean toward the arts-forward and community-minded rather than the honky-tonk strip. OZ Arts Nashville, founded in 2014 and located in a renovated warehouse near The Nations, is the neighborhood's anchor for ambitious programming. It hosts critically acclaimed local, national, and international performing arts companies and has transformed a former cigar warehouse into a nonprofit theater, visual art gallery, and private event space. Performances span theater, live music, puppetry, and art shows. More than 70,000 audience members have passed through, while hundreds of local and regional creators have developed new work in its 10,000-square-foot warehouse theater. On a smaller scale, Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee & Social at 7113 Charlotte Pike plays live music on Friday nights and also offers beer and wine alongside its coffee menu. The spacious shop provides a comfortable atmosphere for studying, socializing, or catching music, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The Muses Studio rounds out the three venues, though specific programming details were not available.
