The bedford
A neighborhood in Nashville
The Local is a bar and live music venue in Nashville's West End neighborhood. It runs live original music every night of the week in a 200-person room with a 250-square-foot main stage and a professional sound system. Owner Geoff opened it in 2017 to give local musicians a place to play while friends and family could relax in the same room. Analog at Hutton Hotel operates as part listening room, part social club, with Bose sound equipment and a bar serving craft cocktails. It was designed to deliver some of the best acoustics in Nashville while keeping the experience intimate and interactive. Analog is located on the second floor of the Hutton Hotel on West End Avenue. Ingram Hall opened in 2002 as part of a building expansion at Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music. The 609-seat hall has full staging capability, including an orchestra pit, loading dock, dressing rooms, and a NightPro audio recording studio. It is home to the Vanderbilt Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Blair Big Band, and VU Opera Theater, and has hosted Grammy-nominated recordings and world premieres by the Nashville Opera and Nashville Ballet. West End's live-music range runs from a 200-person neighborhood bar with nightly original acts to a hotel listening lounge built for acoustic precision to a 609-seat concert hall anchoring one of the city's leading music schools.
