Aksarben Village

Aksarben Village takes its name from "Nebraska" spelled backwards, a nod to a neighborhood with deep entertainment roots, its predecessor site hosted concerts, rodeos, and public events throughout the 20th century. Today the live-music program leans heavily on open air. Stinson Park's open-air stage anchors the district, drawing crowds to concerts, community festivals, and pop-up performances. The free "Saturdays @ Stinson" concert series brings live music from local Omaha bands all summer long. The park has also served as a long-running home for the Maha Festival, an independent festival spanning rock, indie, hip-hop, and electronic genres. Sonny's is a seasonal outdoor bar with live music every weekend, built on land adjacent to Inner Rail Food Hall that was improved in 2022. Karaoke rounds out select nights alongside the weekend music programming.
