North Toledo
North Toledo's live-music anchor is the Historic Ohio Theatre on Lagrange Street, situated in Toledo's Polish International Village and operating as Toledo's last remaining neighborhood theatre since it opened in 1921. Over the years it has hosted films, vaudeville acts, concerts, and performing arts events, and it produces an annual community-based musical and is home to the Toledo Area Theatre Organ Society. The building features a Marr and Colton pipe organ and a 40-by-60-foot thrust stage with a 10-by-20-foot orchestra platform, making it the neighborhood's most capable live-performance space. The Man Cave is an active rock venue, booking local acts such as The Rustbelt Rejects for ticketed shows. The Polish Ostrich and Toledo Yacht Club round out the neighborhood's options, though the range of music each books night to night is best checked through current listings.
