Oregon, Ohio is a Lake Erie-area suburb east of Toledo with a modest live-music footprint. Its main live-music spot is the Curtice Hy-Flash, a bar and diner at 7401 Jerusalem Rd. (Route 2) that has been a family-run operation since its days as a gas station. It serves breakfast in the diner side and drinks and bar food in the tavern. The bar hosts periodic live shows and sits on Ohio Highway 2, a couple of miles from Maumee Bay State Park on the western end of Lake Erie. For residents looking beyond Oregon itself, Toledo's fuller club and venue scene is a short drive west.
