Temperance
Temperance is a residential suburb in Bedford Township, just south of Toledo across the Michigan state line. Its live-music activity centers on Pavlov's Brewing Company, opened in 2019 by Bedford locals John and Joan Groll. The taproom runs 16 rotating taps of house-brewed beer, Michigan-vinted wines, local live music, and weekly food trucks. Events throughout the year include live music, beer and food pairings, and trivia nights. Acts range from solo acoustic performers to full bands; the venue has hosted acoustic singer-songwriters and acts like Roth and Spencer of the Screaming Heathens. An outdoor seating area gives the space room to spread out for warmer-weather shows. For Temperance, Pavlov's is the primary spot where live music and community events cross paths.
