Maple Grove
Maple Grove is a northwest-metro suburb where live music tends to pair with food, drinks, and a casual neighborhood feel rather than a dedicated concert circuit. The Lookout Bar and Grill has anchored that scene since 1958. Family-owned since its founding, the bar grew from a small spot selling 30-cent beers into a full neighborhood destination with homemade meals and live music. Bands play inside every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, with no cover charge. The booking spans a wide range, from 50s music through current acts. A large outdoor patio with volleyball courts, a fire pit, and a children's play area rounds out the space. Brick & Bourbon, on Elm Creek Boulevard, is a craft-cocktail-forward American restaurant that also programs live entertainment. The music lineup runs from acoustic sets by local musicians to DJ nights and themed parties. Shows are scheduled on select nights rather than on a fixed weekly basis.
