Plymouth
A city in the Minneapolis & St. Paul area
Plymouth's live-music calendar leans outdoor and community-rooted. The anchor is the **Hilde Performance Center**, a 45-foot open-air bandshell built for strong acoustics, with a glass wall behind the stage framing views of Plymouth's wetlands. Designed by the architects behind the Lake Harriet Band Shell in Minneapolis, it hosts the Minnesota Orchestra each summer at Music in Plymouth. That event has drawn Twin Cities crowds for more than 50 years. The city also runs a free Hilde Nights series, booking acts like Sena Ehrhardt and local bands such as the Plymouth Rockers and Plymouth Concert Band. Sue McLean & Associates' "Live at the Hilde" series brings national touring acts to the same stage. On the smaller end, **Luce Line Brewing Co.** opened in 2020 right on the Luce Line Regional Trail. It functions as a gathering hub for neighborhood regulars and trail users alike, pairing food trucks with regular live music events in its taproom.
