Macanda HiFi is the vinyl lounge and record bar component of Macanda, a lakefront restaurant on Lake Minnetonka. It describes itself as a vinyl record listening bar for music enthusiasts. The HiFi room operates Friday and Saturday, 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. The broader Macanda space is a lakefront restaurant and vinyl lounge offering a fusion of Latin American flavors and contemporary Japanese sushi. Beyond the bar itself, Macanda HiFi organizes the annual outdoor concert HiFi on the Lake. The event brings electronic dance music to the shores of Lake Minnetonka. The 2026 edition ran on July 25 with co-headliners Hardt Antoine and Cole Knight, with a main stage running from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. for all ages and an indoor after-party. The concert was expected to draw around 1,000 attendees. Wayzata's broader live-music calendar also includes the Wayzata Rotary Club's Music by the Lake free concert series, held on six consecutive Wednesday evenings in July and August at Wayzata Depot Park.
