Mendota Heights

A city in the Minneapolis & St. Paul area

The Mudd Room is a prohibition-era speakeasy in Mendota with craft cocktails, small plates, and live music every Thursday through Saturday night. It sits beneath Lucky's 13 Pub on Sibley Memorial Highway. Music kicks off at 7 PM, with the kitchen and bar open from 4. The room books a range of acts: reviewers mention jazz performers, and acoustic gigs are a regular part of the calendar. The venue is open Thursday through Saturday only, closed the rest of the week. Mendota Heights is otherwise a quiet residential suburb whose city-run Music in the Park summer series draws local and regional bands playing bluegrass, country blues, New Orleans brass, and American songbook standards. For dedicated indoor live music, The Mudd Room is the one fixed stop.
