Clive's live-music options span two very different scales. Horizon Events Center, at 2100 NW 100th St., is the suburb's biggest draw: it holds around 3,000 people and has brought in acts like 311 and Papa Roach. Configurable layouts let it move between standing-room floor shows and seated arrangements, and past bookings have ranged from Tech N9ne and King ISO to country and rock headliners. On the smaller end, Down Under Bar & Grill on Hickman Road is a neighborhood sports bar that books local talent, with music starting at 9 PM and no cover. Live music and karaoke both feature on the schedule, alongside pool tables, darts, and a covered patio. Together the two venues give Clive a range from casual bar-band nights to mid-size touring acts, all without leaving the suburb.
