Maple Bluff
A suburb in the Madison area
Maple Bluff is a small, residential village on Lake Mendota just north of Madison, and its live-music presence is anchored entirely by one seasonal program. Beach Park, on Lakewood Boulevard, hosts the village's free "Concert in the Park" summer series, with shows running evenings overlooking the lake. Recent lineups have included The Belle Weather, The Whiskey Farm, Rose Canyon Band, Reverend Raven & Westside, and Brett Newski. The series leans toward family-friendly acoustic and roots-leaning acts. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. There are no permanent indoor music venues in the village; for anything beyond the summer park series, residents look to Madison proper.
