Brewery District
A neighborhood in Milwaukee
The Brewery District sits between Interstate 43, Fiserv Forum, and the Deer District as one of Milwaukee's newer downtown neighborhoods, built out on the grounds of the former Pabst Brewing complex. Its live-music footprint is modest, centered on a single anchor. Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery occupies the original Pabst corporate offices and houses two restored event halls, the Great Hall and Blue Ribbon Hall, complete with original stained glass and ornate woodwork. These spaces host a range of gatherings, from weddings and corporate events to concerts and community celebrations. During warmer months, live music moves to the courtyard. The venue's primary identity is historical: Beer History Tours take guests through the original Pabst offices, blending storytelling with local brewing lore. Live music performances sit alongside beer festivals, art exhibitions, and historical presentations in the programming mix. It is a heritage destination that adds music to its calendar rather than a dedicated music club.
