Downtown Mishawaka

Phoenix Bar & Grill has anchored downtown Mishawaka's live-music calendar since 2002, putting bands on stage every weekend night and running open mic every Thursday and karaoke every Wednesday. Midway Tavern, a dancehall on the west side of downtown, focuses on blues, soul, R&B, rockabilly, and rock and roll. Hop Station Craft Bar, at 318 Union St., was named best craft beer bar in Indiana by CraftBeer.com for 2020, having built a following quickly after opening in July 2019. Alongside its rotating tap list, Hop Station draws crowds with brewery tap takeovers, live music, and popular themed trivia nights. Ironworks Event Center is part of the city-owned Ironworks Plaza complex on the riverfront. The event center, at 414 N. Hill St., holds up to 128 people and serves as the VIP venue for larger outdoor festivals staged at Ironworks Plaza. In summer, the plaza hosts the Mishawaka Summer Concert Series and other live-music events tied to the Mishawaka Market.
