Linden Hills

Linden Hills is a quiet, residential SW Minneapolis neighborhood flanking Lake Harriet, and its live-music footprint matches that character: small, community-rooted, and mostly acoustic. Wooden Ship Brewing Company anchors the indoor scene, with live music every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The brewery runs a 7-barrel commercial brewhouse with a 50-person taproom in a converted corner space at 3300 W 44th St. Known for its gluten-reduced beers and community spirit, it rounds out its calendar with trivia nights, pottery workshops, and seasonal block parties alongside music. Beyond the taproom, the Lake Harriet Bandshell runs free concerts on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from June through August. The neighborhood's commercial strip at 43rd and Upton also hosts the Linden Hills Summertime Acoustic series, an outdoor acoustic music program running Thursday through Saturday evenings and Sunday brunches along the storefronts. Amplified shows are rare here; the draw is drop-in, neighborhood-scale music.
