Glenview
Macushla Brewing Co. is Glenview's neighborhood brewery serving craft beer and live music in a warm, welcoming space. The taproom runs regular weekend music, and an enclosure added between the taproom and patio has nearly doubled its capacity. The brewery sits next door to the family-connected Hackney's on Lake, rooting it firmly in Glenview's local history. Whiskey River Bar & Grill is Glenview's go-to bar for consistent live music, with bands on Fridays and Saturdays, DJ sets, and Wednesday jam sessions, staying open until 2am on Saturdays. Grandpa's Place rounds out the scene as a family-friendly bar and grill with a live-music and private-parties focus. Its weekly Tuesday open-mic runs upstairs in the Celtic Room. Sign-up opens at 7:00 and music starts at 7:30, with all levels welcome and each performer getting two songs. The venue also books cover bands on weekends. Taken together, Glenview's live-music options skew toward neighborhood bars and a craft brewery, with consistent weekly programming rather than a large-venue concert circuit.
