Wrigleyville
A neighborhood in Chicago
Wrigleyville's live-music options run on the same Clark Street strip as Wrigley Field, and the scene stays active year-round rather than just on game days. The anchor is the Cubby Bear, open since 1953 and spread across more than 30,000 square feet with five bars. It has hosted national and local acts for decades and earned a Best Rock Club citation from the Chicago Music Awards. GMan Tavern, a 150-capacity room two blocks north of the park, has been a neighborhood fixture since 1976 and books live music up to seven nights a week. Notably, it keeps no sports TVs, setting it apart from the sports-bar corridor around it. Sluggers World Class Sports Bar adds a dueling-piano format alongside its batting cages and arcade games. Tin Roof on Clark runs live music with a southern-inspired bar atmosphere. Uncommon Ground and Kincade's Wrigley round out the neighborhood with additional live-music programming across the corridor.
