Harrison is a Near North neighborhood bounded by Olson Memorial Highway to the north and Theodore Wirth Park to the west, primarily residential in character. Its sole dedicated music spot is Utepils Brewing, a creekside beer garden surrounded by parks and forest, about a mile from Target Field, with an indoor taproom. The brewery focuses on European-style lagers and ales. On the music side, Friday Night Live is a free, all-ages live music series running every Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Saturdays in summer bring a rotating lineup in the beer garden, ranging from acoustic sets to higher-energy bands. Beyond the weekly programming, the brewery hosts a UtePaLooza summer music festival and a Brews Cruise river event. Sue McLean & Associates produces the ticketed "Live at Utepils" concert series: now in its 4th year, it has become a summer tradition for music lovers and craft beer enthusiasts. Many events in the live music series are free, while special events like the Brews Cruise require advance tickets.
